Our Mission

The Blood Connection truly understands that its first order of business is the community blood supply. We continually assess the ever-changing needs of our hospital partners and establish goals that ensure we provide what is needed. Strategic goal setting and the pursuit of these goals are the driving forces behind our operation. We know that achieving daily blood collection goals ensures an adequate inventory to meet the needs of the communities in North and South Carolina and in Georgia.

The Blood Connection also carefully manages product supply to ensure we deliver on commitments to our customers. We want to make hospital blood inventory management as easy as possible by having a broad spectrum of products available. The Blood Connection also offers an extensive library of rare blood types that allows us to respond quickly to patients’ compatibility needs.

Host a Drive

Do you know a group or organization that may be interested in hosting a blood drive? If so, The Blood Connection needs your help in identifying these partner businesses, churches, and schools in your community.

SAVE LIVES and support your community by having a drive at work, at church or at school!

Powerful Partnerships Save Lives

The Blood Connection has continued and successful partnerships with families who honored fallen heroes and loved ones, and with companies that took blood donation to new levels of awareness and action. TBC honored Captain Kimberly Hampton, the young American hero from Easley who died in Iraq: and saluted Trooper Eric Nicholson who was shot and killed in the line of duty and who had just donated blood a few hours before he was killed. Powerful partnerships with the Greenville Drive, Entercom Radio and Bruster’s continued to inspire loyal donors and first-time donors.

The Blood Connection is grateful for the life stories and committed corporations that motivate the community to selfless action time and time again.
